•    Speech delivered at the opening ceremony of the CARIFORUM Heads of State and Government Summit.
•    Lunch with the Heads of State attending the CARIFORUM Heads of State and Government Summit at the ‘El Vesuvio’ Restaurant.
•    Fidel attended the gala offered to the Heads of State attending the CARIFORUM Heads of State and Government Summit at the Country Club.

•    Closing ceremony of the CARIFORUM Heads of State and Government Summit.
•    Visit to the Royal Houses Museum.
•    Lunch offered in honor of the 500 years of the city of Santo Domingo.
•    Fidel laid a wreath in honor of Duarte, Sanchez and Mella on the Homeland’s Altar.
•    Speech delivered upon receiving the Duarte, Sanchez and Mella Merit Order in the degree of Grand Cross, Gold Plaque.
•    Dinner hosted in his honor by Leonel Fernandez, President of the Dominican Republic.
