- He presides over the National Conference of Cuban Doctors, where he spoke in detail about the precarious health situation of the Cuban people, the insufficient medical care they were given in 1958 and the efforts being made by the Revolutionary Government to enhance healthcare. He said: “Doctors work to improve the quality of life and health”.
